When hiring for a childcare educator job at Gowrie NSW, we look for people who are enthusiastic, nurturing and fun. We value creativity, adaptability and positivity as well as alignment with our vision, values and strategy.
For childcare educator jobs, we also require that you hold a Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood. You should also have knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework, National Regulations and National Quality Standards. In NSW you’ll need a Working with Children Check (WWCC) and in the ACT you’ll need a Working with Vulnerable People (WWVP) registration.
Current certificates in First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis management are highly desirable, as is prior experience working with children.
