So often, childcare educator jobs are seen as purely caring roles. But at Gowrie NSW you bring so much more to the table than your job description could ever possibly capture.
As an educator, you nurture the hearts and minds of young learners. Their parents leave them in your hands every day knowing that you’ll guide them in their development. You’ll provide them with opportunities to learn and grow, sparking their curiosity and catering to their unique needs and interests.
Day-to-day, you’ll plan learning experiences and activities that align with the outcomes in the Early Years Learning Framework. You’ll observe the children in your care, documenting their progress and providing feedback to their parents.
You’ll collaborate with your team, learning from each other as you create engaging and meaningful learning experiences. You’ll also build relationships with the children, their families and your colleagues. Through the Gowrie NSW primary educator approach, you’ll deeply understand each individual child’s needs, routines and cues to become their anchor and their advocate.
In addition to the general benefits of working in childcare, Gowrie NSW offers an empowering, positive and flexible working environment. We know that our people are the beating heart of every centre. When they are supported and empowered, they flourish. And so do the children in our care.
