About Gowrie NSW

Gowrie NSW
Our Services
Gowrie NSW is proud to support children, families, and communities through a wide range of services. We offer high-quality Early Education and Preschool programs, Outside School Hours Care and Vacation Care, and the Adult Migrant English Program (AMEP) to help new arrivals settle into Australian life.
We’re also a trusted resource for professionals, providing training and support through our Education Hub, and delivering expert guidance through the NSW/ACT Inclusion Agency. At Gowrie NSW, we’re here to nurture every child, empower every educator, and strengthen every community we serve.

Early Education and Preschool
Early Education and Preschool centres are places where children’s rights, voices and individuality are at the heart of every decision. Our educators create safe, respectful and stimulating environments where children are supported to explore, question and imagine. Through play, relationships and meaningful experiences, children build confidence, develop skills for school and life, and feel a strong sense of belonging. Families are welcomed as partners in this journey, sharing in the joy and possibilities of early learning.

Outside Hours School Care and Vacation Care
Gowrie NSW Outside School Hours Care and Vacation Care programs are grounded in our belief that every child has the right to feel safe, respected and heard. Our experienced educators create spaces that balance play, learning and rest, with opportunities for children to explore STEM, creative arts, sport and nature, or simply enjoy quiet time with friends. These programs extend the school day and holiday breaks in meaningful ways, building on children’s interests, nurturing their wellbeing and strengthening their sense of belonging in community.

Inclusion Agency
Gowrie NSW partners with KU Children’s Services and Include Me to deliver the NSW/ACT Inclusion Agency program, which aims to build the capacity and capability of educators to address participation barriers for all children through implementing quality inclusive practices.

Our Commitment to Reconciliation
Gowrie NSW is strongly committed to reconciliation and recognises the special place that Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people hold within Australia and acknowledges that they are the first people of the land we share today.
We recognise Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures as enduring, living cultures and pay our respects to Elders, past and present.

Gowrie Australia
Gowrie Australia is a national consortium of state based Gowrie Organisations and is nationally committed to optimal outcomes for children and families.
Although each Gowrie is a separate entity, we work collaboratively through a Memorandum of Understanding to develop and implement quality education and care programs for young children which are informed by current research and thinking.
The consortium meets on a regular basis to share best practice.
