Gowrie NSW is excited to announce the opening of a new early learning centre to support the Central West community. Opening in early 2022, our not-for-profit early education and care centre will cater for children from 6 weeks to 6 years. Our 90 place centre will be a place for children to gather, connect and build relationships, in an historic building filled with history, light and abundance.
The proximity to Cook Park and the botanical gardens mean children will be able to access places beyond the centre and what they have to offer.
A true highlight of Newstead will be the piazza, a centralised dining area that will create a warm inviting space for children and educators to come together and connect, enjoying the inviting aromas from the delicious meals prepared by our in-residence chef.
Children will be emersed in carefully planned and beautiful inviting learning environments which ensure essential elements to support their learning in the early years.
We believe that every child brings with them unique strengths, capabilities, culture, interests, knowledge, ideas and experiences…and that every day is filled with possibilities and chances for discovery.
"Gowrie NSW is committed to retaining the heritage features of the building in our refurbishment, as well as maintaining the magnificent gardens" Nicole Jones, CEO Gowrie NSW
Newstead is a historic landmark property in an excellent location close to the CBD and Cook Park.
