Let's Talk Pedagogy is the new podcast from the Gowrie NSW Education Hub, made for teachers and educators across early and middle childhood. Each episode is a conversation about practice: what it looks like day to day and how it grows over time.
You'll hear from educators, pedagogical leaders and guests who share honest reflections and real stories of practice change from Gowrie centres and beyond.
What we talk about
Our conversations centre on the four Program Foundations that shape practice at Gowrie NSW: Respectful Relationships, Intentional Play-Based Teaching, Empowerment and Practitioner Inquiry. We explore what these look like for infants, toddlers, preschoolers and school-aged children, and across different services from long day care to outside school hours care (OSHC).
Recent episodes have looked at democratic approaches to mealtimes, distributed leadership in OSHC, transforming infant room practice and truth-telling in everyday work with children. Wherever you are in your career, each episode is an invitation to pause and think about your own practice.
