We understand the importance of balancing school and family life, which is why we provide flexible care options that cater to the needs of both children and busy families. From creative activities like arts and crafts to physical play and outdoor exploration, children have the opportunity to engage in a range of enriching experiences. Our experienced and caring educators focus on supporting each child’s emotional wellbeing, helping them build positive relationships and friendships while feeling connected and confident in their environment.
Our program promotes inclusion and a strong sense of community, making it a place where children are excited to return each day. Parents can trust that their child is in a nurturing and safe space. Whether before school or after school, Gowrie OSHC provides a supportive environment where your child can feel happy, secure, and ready to explore, learn, and grow.
Our Learning Environments
Our OSHC programs feature thoughtfully designed learning environments that cater to a wide range of interests and needs. We provide dedicated breakout spaces, including quiet areas for relaxation and mindfulness, where children can unwind after a busy day.
For those looking to explore their creativity, our art and craft stations offer endless opportunities for self-expression, while our STEM activities spark curiosity and critical thinking. Outdoor play is a key focus, with ample space for physical activity, adventure, and team games, promoting both fitness and social interaction. These diverse environments are designed to support children’s holistic development, offering them the freedom to explore, create, and connect in a space that is safe, engaging, and stimulating.

What a Day Looks Like at Before and After School Care
Our Outside School Hours Care (OSHC) programs provide children with a safe, inclusive and engaging environment where their rights and voices are respected. Each service offers a variety of experiences and breakout spaces, giving children the freedom to choose how they spend their time...whether that’s exploring STEM projects, joining in outdoor games, relaxing with friends or diving into creative arts.
Our experienced educators create programs that balance fun and learning, while ensuring every child feels supported, valued and connected before and after the school day.
-
Before school, children are welcomed into a calm and supportive environment that sets them up for the day ahead. A nutritious breakfast is offered to fuel their minds and bodies, and there’s time to enjoy a mix of engaging activities. Whether it’s creative arts, quiet reading, or hands-on STEM experiences, children start the morning with choice, confidence and connection before heading into class.
-
After school, children arrive to a warm and energetic space designed for both fun and relaxation. They can share a healthy afternoon snack before joining in a wide range of activities, from outdoor games and sports to STEM projects, cooking and creative arts. Our experienced educators support children to follow their interests, build friendships and unwind from the school day in a safe, caring environment.
