Supporting children through squabbles, disagreements and conflicts (3-part series)

Children enter into conflict often, and being able to respond and support them through it defines not only the immediate dynamics between them, but also the larger group dynamic in the centre. Finding ways of engaging with children around conflict situations allows us (educators) also to support children's development of relational skills.

This 3-part series will equip educators with an understanding of the conflict dynamics, the underlying relational and developmental needs of children who engage in disagreements, as well as practical tools to respectfully navigate moments of tension between children.
