The environment is aesthetically interesting with a large allocation of resources and equipment for children to access on a daily basis. Children’s contributions, thoughts and ideas are respected and visible within the environment. The program provides children with opportunities to participate in projects throughout the year that include an Artist in Residence, sports clinics and drama and performance exploration.

On a day to day basis the program includes activities based on children’s interests and decided on by the children including craft and creativity projects, science exploration, construction using recycled and loose part objects, small group games and physical skills games. Strong partnerships between the school community and the OSHC program ensure consistent values and approaches ensuring children have an understanding of what is expected of them.
