All children have the right to develop nurturing, respectful and reciprocal relationships with the adults who care for them.  Relationships are at the heart of quality practice in early childhood and this workshop will develop your understanding of working with children aged from birth to three. During this workshop, we will explore:

  • The role of Attachment Theory and how it looks in practice
  • The Educator’s role in developing trusting and respectful relationships
  • Consistency of care routines (including transitions) to support each child’s individual, physical and emotional needs
  • The Principles and Practices of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) in planning for infants and toddlers.
Completing ‘Nurturing Infants & Toddlers’ will contribute 3 hours of NESA Registered PD addressing 1.1.2 from The Australian Professional Standards for Teachers towards maintaining Proficient Teacher Accreditation in NSW.
