Critical reflection is about having an open mind as well as being curious, interested and inquisitive. This workshop will provide educators with an opportunity to explore how critical reflection supports their practices of working with children and families.
Seeing the process of observation as a way to capture the story that 'comes to us' from the child, means that we have an opportunity to create meaningful documentation that authentically reflects the child.
In these workshops, we will examine the way in which photos are taken in an early childhood setting and the impact of photography in practice. Additionally, we will explore the way in which art can be used as a language of readable lines, shapes and forms.
