An Aboriginal Art inspired workshop that will provide early childhood educators with information on the history of Aboriginal Art across Australia, including practical examples of storytelling. A full day workshop with Aboriginal educators and artists who aim to inspire you to engage with Aboriginal culture and ways to include this into your program practice and early childhood environments.

About your presenter: Michelle Hamilton

Proud Wiradjuri woman, Michelle Hamilton, heads Gowrie NSW’s Indigenous Inclusion Hub where, as an educator’s educator, she has the opportunity to work throughout NSW. Michelle is passionate about ensuring equality for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children and providing ATSI families with access to early childhood education. Michelle‘s specialist topic is ‘Including and valuing Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander perspectives’ and her formal qualifications include a Bachelor of Teaching and a Certificate in Training and Assessment. Michelle keeps participants in her sessions motivated by sharing stories and running hands on activities.
