Gowrie NSW are seeking a passionate and creative Program Manager for our 80 place Vacation Care program in the vibrant environs of North Sydney. The Role

This position is available during the school holidays and ongoing for each Vacation Care period.

Permanent Part Time position 75 hours fortnight each holiday period, Dates will be based on school breaks.

This position entails the following roles and responsibilities:

  • Working within a team environment and reporting to the General Manager OSHC
  • Responsible for the operational management and oversite of Vacation Care;
  • Responsible for promoting a healthy, safe and enriching environment for children in accordance with the National Quality Framework, Children’s and Young person’s Act and Gowrie NSW policies and procedures

About You

Essential Criteria:

 Demonstrated experience in children’s recreation, leisure and education.

Demonstrated experience in program, project, service delivery and resource management.

Demonstrated staff management, development and training skills

sound financial management skills

High level of understanding of National Quality Framework, My Time Our Place Framework to undertake the role of Educational Leader.

 

Qualifications

• working with children check

• Qualifications or study in Education or similar (preferred)

• A current first-aid certificate and asthma and anaphylaxis training

• Identify and Respond qualification
