An exciting new opportunity exists to work with Gowrie NSW in our soon to be launched Registered Training Organisation (RTO). We are seeking 2 experienced Trainer & Assessors to join our workforce, initially as a casual, with a view to move to full time permanent in January 2020, to provide high quality training and assessment services with the intent of issuing competent learners with nationally recognised qualifications and/or statements of attainment.

The Role

We are seeking 2 Trainer & Assessors to deliver training for students in a Traineeship undertaking:

  • CHC30113 Certificate III in Early Education and Care 
  • CHC50113 Diploma of Early Education and Care 

Training will be delivered at the student’s workplace, either one on one or in a small group, in an Early Education and Care setting. Delivery sites will be geographically spread across NSW, with most training delivered in the Sydney Metropolitan area.

The trainer will also be responsible for the following:

  • Maintain a timetable/student case load as negotiated with Manager;
  • Conduct Training sessions and assessments;

  • Act as a Gowrie NSW RTO ambassador with employers and students;

  • Administration and record keeping

We are seeking...

Trainers MUST hold an industry approved Early Education qualification equivalent to a Diploma or higher AND a minimum TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment

We are also seeking: 

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Recent industry experience in industry area and including a sound knowledge of current industry workplace practices.
  • Training and Assessment Skills
  • Thorough knowledge of relevant training packages.
  • Sound Reporting Skills.

  • Current drivers licence and reliable car
